ABBA Adoption, LLC is a Liaison Between the Adoptive and Birth Parents.

As a full service agency, ABBA Adoption has the opportunity of walking through every step of the adoption process with both the adoptive parents and the birth parents.  This unique role is designed in part so that you do not have to face any decision or experience alone.

After working with a birth mother and understanding her individual desires and needs, we present her with appropriate adoptive parent profiles.  ABBA only presents profiles that could be a good match for a birth mother. 

A good match would be based on some of the following simliarities between the birth mother and potential adoptive parents:

• Amount of openness/confidentiality

• Amount of birth parent expenses

• Amount (if any) substance use/abuse

• Ethnic backgrounds

Once a match is complete, ABBA:

• Coordinates conference calls, if desired by the parties involved

• Coordinates meetings before the birth of the baby, if desired by the parties involved

• Keeps adoptive parents informed on all medical issues with the birth mother and baby

• Coordinates arrangements with the adoptive parents for the birth of the baby 

• Coordinates hosptial stay to accomodate the desires of the adoptive parents and birth mother

• Coordinates all legal paperwork up to the finalization

• Continues a relationship with the birth mother after the baby is born and the adoption finalized to assist in appropriate emotional responses towards the adoption, the adoptive parents, and herself.
